Congratulations - very nice bike. Far, far different than the Road King, that's for sure.
I kinda went through the same thing several years ago when I bought my 900 Super Sport - I quit riding my Road King. At least for awhile... I'm glad I hung onto it in the end, though. It's nice having such vastly different machines.
So, if you are at all considering doing so, I'd say hang onto the Road King for awhile. Until the "newness" of the BMW wears off a bit.
