My wife is diabetic.......Insulin a lot cheaper in Canada - 1/3 the price of US.
Had a batch go bad in the heat when shipped once, so now she wants it picked up in person......
So, 4 hours each way for me on the motorcycle......I have the name of a Chain Pharmacy 5 minutes over the border in Osoyoos......Call/email them a few days in advance. Order is waiting, I'm in and out in 5 minutes......
Did this in Sept. Pull up to the border and 1st question is: "How long have you been in Canada"? I say: 37 minutes......Went downhill from there, but 1st time I've had an issue.....45 minute delay inside talking with this guys supervisor.......Issue was the prescription was in her name and not mine....Next time I carry the paperwork......
