I use google for programming help a lot. It's especially helpful when I'm not at all sure what I'm looking for. So I'll type in something like "DOM.getAttributeByName()." and it will autocomplete with "childNode[0].value.childNode;" or whatever -- enough to give me a snippet of someone else's code and a description to verify that it does what it should. Scary.
Or do comparison searches. Say you're looking at a Stanley growler, or a Touareg. Type in "Touareg vs..." and it'll tell you what most people consider the most likely competition.
Google is friggin' scary.
