Matt beat me to it.
I don't know tech personally. What I do know is this... he's been a great contributor to this forum for a long time. I have bought and sold quite a few cars over the years here. Quite often I have solicited his opinion, especially on west coast cars, since I am back east. Typically he either knows the car or points out things even I ( a well seasoned buyer) missed. I have seen him sell a good number of cars here as an honest seller with great disclosure and I have seen him broker a number of deals which both sides were happy.
IMO his integrity or validation as a seller and forum member need not be questioned.
With regards to this car. Good luck building one to this standard for the price offered. Personally unless you're doing all the heavy lifting yourself you wont be able to do it for the asking price.
Does that mean this car is a deal? Not really, if it was a smoking deal the market would have scooped it up already. As with all modified cars, the builder rarely gets his money back. It also takes a bit more time to sell as you have to find a buyer who wants those exact mods. Does that mean this car is over priced? Not really, it just takes time on a modded car. Personally its more than I would want to pay were I in the market for one like it but its not grossly over priced.... No one has posted it on the "Prices that make me Laugh" thread.
