Don't know anyone in the valley who is an SKS guru, but this guy in TX seems to be the go-to GS for SKS trigger work:
SKS triggers, improve the safety of the SKS carbines
Or there is always Bill Springfield (if he is still taking jobs).
It's easy enough to remove the trigger group and send it off.
It might take longer than finding a local, but the prices seems reasonable and it may be worth the wait for someone with such expertise (trigger jobs), and reputation. YMMV.
