If I can't turn it with my hand, I use anything that can help. I have a band style wrench with a swivel handle, old timing belts, aforementioned channel locks, screw drivers, and a 15 year old.
The 15 year old got the last one off on his mothers' MDX.
My favorite is the 15 year old.
