Other than being particularly dirty it's ok. I just finished a 525 box of it on Sunday that Remington sent me as a promo in late 2014. Both my buckmark and marlin definitely prefer mini mag though. Since then the only place I've seen Remington golden
actually in stock is CDNN at 10 cents per round. I'm just saying I'd be fine paying 10 cents per round if it was (a) usually locally in stock and (b) better than the cheapo brick stuff.
