In 1989, you could go to Brumos Porsche, and buy a brand new 930 for $59K, at the same time, a 944 Turbo would set you back $49K.
Performance difference between the two Turbos, was like a second faster to 60 for the 930, and top speed, just a few miles, again going to the 930, course for about a $1,000, you could chip & a few other upgrades to the 951, and have a FASTER Turbo.
Point is, while other cars may be faster than the 930, the 930 still, 40 years later, is in a class by itself. Now, lets all hop in our "Hot Tub" time machines and head back to buy a new 930.
