1976 Carrera 3.0 W/5 speed? Is this real?
In my view, the recent 3.0 values are simply down to scarcity because they're obviously not about any substantial performance advantage.
I have owned ROW versions of all of these cars (and every gen Turbo). However when it comes to performance, I don't think my personal opinion (as informed as it is) should be given more weight than published test data. Magazines test cars for a living and know what their doing, how to mitigate personal bias, etc.
