Let's take it from this direction... What about the GT3 appeals to you that the 993 RSrep doesn't give you? You've already got the GT3s daddy in your garage. What makes you think the son is a better expression of the breed?
ps. for your value question I think you are in the ballpark, which if you are 996 GT3 swapping it's a straight across. If you have your heart set on a 997, you might have to sell both your air cooled cars and still put in money or settle for a rough example.
