Pizza sounds good. Had lasagna for dinner. Prefer crust to noodles. A local Pizza place, Marco's sells lasagna without the noodles. It's just meetballs, sauce, and cheese. Get it to make whole wheat spaghetti and meatballs.
Need to redo my college days whole wheat crust pizza. What I made back then feeds way too many people. Medium sized, but was 6 inches think and only 1/2 inch of that was the crust. It would feed 8-10 people. Last time I made one was in the mid 80's and cost $35 in ingredients.
Worked at a Pizza restaurant in college back in 1980. Two of the things I fixed myself to eat were added to the menu. First was my Nachos. Was the first to put meat on nachos, anywhere. Within a year restaurants were doing meat nachos everywhere. The other was and Italian club sandwich.
When I came home for the summer my parents asked me to make a pizza. Since my Dad was diabetic worked until came up with and excellent whole wheat crust. Then went nuts with all the ingredients. Some people got upset when they found I used Ragu for the sauce, but it sure was good.
