column switch replacement
Hello-I am thinking about replacing the column switch on a 1999. Right now it does not cancel the turn signal indicator after the turn is complete. After reading up on the procedure, I have several questions:
1. How does the cancel function work? Is there a piece of hardware on the shaft that triggers the cancel function that could be worn or missing?
2. Bentley says that you must reset fault memory after the proceedure. Can this be done with a Durametric unit or does it require a PWIS tool?
Any help with this is very much appreciated!
