Have a friend have lost contact with over the years. He was in special forces, had a cover job working as a civilian contractor at the local airforce base. He was often gone to "seminars' that lasted for a month or two. He was the communications guy. Showed me a device a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes that would laser spot a target that he said a missile would hit within 3 ft of. This was in the mid 80's. Last I heard he had a software company.
