Growing up around lots of boats. I have seen a lot money frittered away. Airplanes will do it even faster.
I do see the draw. A 10-15 year old Trawler would be a great second home in the PNW. the Wife would never go for it. Used is the only way it could see buying one.
The depreciation curve on boats is hard fathom.
