I drink pour over coffee at my local place. They are very exacting about it - weigh the ground, weigh the water, pre-wet the filter, etc. The coffee is good.
But I'm over being obsessed with coffee. I started out using a Melita or Chemex cone (that was pour-over coffee, before it became cool), then a French press, then a Bialetti stovetop espresso maker, with various other devices along the way. At the end of the day, I like good coffee and it can be made in a wide variety of styles. As long as there is a generous amount of good quality ground coffee used, I usually like the result.
