They look like 15" to me. Your assumptions about 15" vs, 16" are correct: stepped lip, same center.
Unfortunately we don't offer the deep six look on any of our BZ wheels. Actually, that's not exactly true; we could make a fully custom set of wheels but your are talking about thousands. If I understand deep six correctly it has a center that curves back at it's periphery to reveal or allow a deeper looking dish with more rim area apparent. We do offer the RSR finish on everything though.
I imagine it is possible to take an actual deep six and weld or cut it up to create a 16" version. Not sure if it's financially feasible or ethically appropriate though.

I'd like to eventually upgrade to 16s for better tire selection but keep the deep six look on my 72 narrow body car, not go to the SC wheel look if possible. I know SC style wheels can be painted to look like early wheels but the shape is much different.
