I'm accustomed to dropping the engine on my older 911's for just about everything. But this 996 is a much larger beast. I do not have a lift, but I have everything it takes to easily remove a 993 engine in my garage.
So with that aside, I would like to drop the engine but I fear time will be my biggest enemy as I'm limited to weekends mostly to complete the work.
