Glad she is making progress.
Do everything you can to keep her room clean. I'd be wiping everything (handles, surfaces, etc) down with something that kills C. Difficile (e.g. diluted bleach, see
CDC - C diff Q and As - HAI ) multiple times/day and making sure every nurse or doctor puts on clean gloves when entering. The last thing she needs is to be reinfected, which happens a lot.
Antibiotic resistant infections are a huge and growing issue. We are running out of effective antibiotics.
