This definetly gives me confidence to tackle the small rust issue on my car in the future.

I will not discourage you from this... but in my case, I learned that body work is not for me... I will let people more skilled than me, tackle that area.

When it comes to painting, I have the tools but I do not have a paint booth... and I just do not have the patience that is required to prep the body for paint... plus the overspray from the clear coat!! That is a mess!! I did it once, in my garage, for the 944 Turbo I had... then I tried to do the spoiler and bumper in my 964... nope, that is not for me.

Metal work I would love to learn... got the welders, the hammers and dollies... and was planning to tackle the 912, but got cold feet... that is right, a friend now will be doing the metal work. Same guy that worked the RSR and the RS... it is an art form to be able to do all that without the need to used body filler afterwards.

So to the OP... you are one brave man doing some of this stuff for the first time.
