RE: 5l32v4c
The reassurance I feel in getting my water pump from Roger is worth waaaaay more than I could possibly save getting a rebuilt one, or one from a less reputable source.
Place your trust in Roger folks, he won't steer you wrong. If he does, I know where he lives!!
Thanks for reply

So you know where he lives , is that Texas perhaps
The Porsche Car dealer I guese your saying is a " less reputable source " humm
Perhaps your saying that if You Bought a Porsche Car new or used you got it from a " less reputable source " then
or any Porsche Dealer parts as well would be a "less reputable source "
Personally I am Happy with The Porsche Car Company and the Porsche Car Dealer Parts .The Factory Warranty seems like a good thing to me and I have no Problem with such . I trust the Porsche Warranty 2 Years dealer Installed or 1 Year self Installed .
I Just Sold mt 1990 Porsche 911 C4 last month and it certainly Held It's Value selling for $20K after 13 Years gone by since Purchase.
Perhaps I was Lucky it had No Water pump at all .
Everything in the 928 106 915 AX Water Pump Rebuild Kit is with Porsche Dealer Parts and Warranty .
All the Part's on / in the Pump are Brand new , Yes Brand New Porsche dealer parts from Germany ( not China )
I don't however know where the Corporation owners live lol however I trust the Car Dealer Warranty Evan so .
BTW : I also Ordered a New Porsche 928 105 571 06 Tension Roller for the Pump
Is a superseded Number from the old Porsche # 928 105 571 02 Tension Roller . This is the Small Roller that presses on the Water Pump
RE: stepson
Aluminum,
I wish you all the best luck with your water pump. Hopefully, it will give you many years of worry-free service.
Thanks for Reply : I shall Begin the Install in a few days when I receive the new Updated Roller ( 928 105 571 06 Tension Roller )
that Installs on the Pump . The pump I removed was also a Porsche Dealer Rebuilt Water Pump installed by the Porsche Dealer
I have the Receipt from Aug 2001 so 14 Years on the old pump wow that's Impressive in my Book . Lucky the Porsche Dealer Pump had the Plastic Impeller as the Bearing turned hard and with Wobble of the Impeller . Engine Block has a Polish Mark where the Impeller rubbed it .
My 1980 16V 928 has a Rebuilt Water Pump I Installed in 2010 still working just fine however it was NOT a Porsche Factory Pump
so I wonder how long it well last .
