Used to have a big ol oak tree just on the other side of our fence. You could see it out back when sitting in the living room. They killed it putting a road in, then took the road out, then took the tree. It also took a lot of neighborhood wildlife that were living in it, ie birds, squirrels, raccoon, and opossum.

There is still a great horned owl that roosts in the top of my cottonwood tree. Hear it hootin at night. And lately saw a smaller opossum cruising along the top of the stockage fence.
