Great airplane.
One of my long time customers was a USAF F-4 Phantom pilot. He loved that jet and preferred it to the more modern F-16s and F-15s. He had to punch out twice though due to engine failures, once over Texas and once over Nam. Fortunately the good guys were there to pick him up quickly and get him back to base.
