hello there

so im new here, sorry for errors of any kind.
i own a 1984 944, alright well i was leaving my house in the morning, when i pushed the clutch in to shift to 3rd it stayed up and it wouldnt release.
i then had to push my car down the block and back up my driveway <- PITA
before you point out the obvious( master/slave cylinder)
a couple months ago my slave cylinder went out and i bought the rebuild kit from pelican, knowing that i checked here first
i removed the inspection plug and slave cylinder seemed fine (no leaks and fork had no play) but i removed the starter anyway
so i moved to the master cylinder ,
and BINGO there was the problem, seals were worn
unfortunately theres no rebuild kit(cheap me

)
so i bought the master cylinder (along with the paper gasket thanks you guys

)
i installed the master cylinder, and then commenced to the bleeding
during the bleeding when the valve was closed my assistant pressed the clutch and i heard a 'POP'
the seal on the slave cylinder popped and threw brake fluid everywhere
i removed the slave cylinder and noticed that the fork would not move fully towards the front of the vehicle, i tried prying it (not too much force) and i could see the release bearing slightly moving
i tried searching the forums for anyone thats encountered this problem but didnt have much luck, hopefully somone has a solution to this problem, thanks
