As Matt says, I think you would need an entire running car to pull the harness and DMEs with the engine. Even then it may not work but would certainly be an interesting exercise and probably worth the risk in time. Making an ITB or Weber set-up for one would solve most/all of the harness concerns. Maybe 5 years from now the serious enthusiast will be able to 3D print a metal intake.
Anyway, part of this came from knowing a friend is putting around $25K into a 928 engine to get a reliable and track-worthy 400 hp/450 lbft.
Just thinking for fun.
