Do you need/have a dishwasher (the appliance)
My wife and I live in a small two bedroom one bath unit with a small kitchen. It is just the two of us so the dishwasher gets run about once a week. The dishwasher is about ~10 years old and wasn't top of the line when it was installed thus we pretty much wipe/wash the dishes and silverware,toss them in there and it rinses/sanitizes them for us once a week.
Wife keeps hitting me up with "why don't we get rid of that thing and use the space for storage?" because we pretty much pre-wash the dishes before we put them in there anyway.
Growing up seems like we always had a dishwasher, every house I have visited has one... they seem kinda obligatory...
What does the PPOT brain trust think... could you/would you/do you live without a dishwasher?
