It is correct on these issues:
-Electric steering is indeed a little bit of a letdown but all cars are going this way (Mazda, Porsche, etc)
-No oil temp gauge (A lot of people purchase a P3 vent gauge which can tell them this and additional information).
-The active sound is annoying but anyone can code it off
Even though R&T complains about it, Car and Driver has listed it in their top 10 cars since the car has been released:
2016 10Best Cars: The Winners, Features, Photos, and More – Feature – Car and Driver. Also, it was faster than the 1M around the nurburgring and faster in a straight line than the previous generation E90 M3.
