Planting some 15 gal. size twin-trunk Alexander Palms (
Archontophoenix alexandrae) on a project. They are native to Australia and not widely used in this area of Florida, but are self-cleaning (fronds drop off on their own) and have a nice crown shaft and interesting flower stalk along with distinctive ringed trunk. While a little skimpy upstairs...these are really good "starter" plants with respectable height and will really take off now that they are out of their pots!
