For years we raised outdoor wolf/hybrids (legally) that were artic timber/tundra wolf mixed with malamute, 135# and seven feet long from nose to tip of tail. These guys lived for the snow /ice of January and February, they were much more active, and in better moods during zero degree days. They suffered through the hot summer months staying in the shade and barely moving.
We have friends that have a chihuahua, and that damned thing shivers on a 70 degree day in the sun.
