It is a strange phenomenon. The button on the side of the iPhone (also used to turn the volume up) can be used to take the photo. The is way easier than tapping the screen because you can keep all your fingers holding the phone steady. With that button on top the photos will be upside down on Pelican.
For most of the photos I post on Pelican I save them to my computer. The thumbnail is correct but if I open it in Photoshop the image is upside down. I almost always want to crop the photo or tweak the exposure or something. When I rotate it and save it that version will post correctly.
That photo also as the location where it was taken. In Win7 or later you can right click on the image and under properties see the info and delete the geo-tag or other personal information. I do that images I shoot at home.
