To each his own I guess... I absolutely LOVE the original Alpine Berlinette, and I'd own one today if the prices had not gone stratospheric, like those of early 911s. (although truth be told I barely fit in one) There are enough cues in this new car (nose, sides) that I would like to have one (in blue, with yellow fog lights please) if it cost less than a Cayman. Renault can do very good hot hatches, and if renault sport does this well, it could be fantastic !
Of course it does not help that the new 718 Cayman will be gorgeous and probably a better car overall, but not cheap... So pricing will be key. I want that Alpine...
PS: as far as support, Renault owns a majority stake in nissan. So nissan dealers.
