So the engine is completely torn down. I was pleasantly surprised how well the case split and the heads came off of the cam towers.
Everything looks pretty good as far as I can tell. Under the main bearings there is some staining, but no wear. All the bearings appear to be in good to great shape. Intermediate shaft bearing showed some wear but I think that is pretty standard.

Started cleaning some of the excess grime off the outside before getting ready to take it up to verden tool.
This is the #6 head. You can see where exhaust was leaking because of the broken head stud.
