Thanks for the data points. I think you're both right in sticking with the ethos of the original build design, which was to build it so it would last another 100K before another teardown is needed. Re-using P's and C's doesn't really fall into that category.
Hadn't thought of getting rid of the kidney! Wonder what kids kidneys are worth? I have at least 4 of those and 2 more on the way
