When I was a kid in the '60s and early '70s many households had a National Geographic library. Before the Internet if you wanted to learn something you sat down and started looking though National Geographic magazines and not just for the pictures of native peoples in their revealing native wear. I'll bet Mr. Disney got more than a few good ideas paging through his NG collection.
