The issue of keeping the original color, especially Sepia Brown has been ongoing for years on Pelican. For me, originality is everything! I have often mentioned that it was Dr. Porsche who came up with Sepia Brown and it was his favorite color. So much so, that he painted his 928 Sepia. When Sepia was introduced it was the age of the rainbow colors that were popular. Driving an Orange, Electric Blue, Lime Green, Bright Yellow, etc, etc import, especially a Porsche was the way to go. The Sepia must have been conservative back then and appealed to more conservative tastes. As a Porsche salesman once remarked, "it was the gentlemens color" back in those days. So here I introduce my 1973.5T 911 in original Sepia Brown accented by "S" trim, wheel well chrome trim and Fuch wheels. The longer I have owned it, the greater the positive responses. Keep it original, why would you choose any other color?
