That happened to my cousin, when he was in the 82nd, 1,200 feet up, his & another Troopers chutes streamed. He fought to try & get the chute open, the other guy screamed, and landed in his boots, died instantly, my cousin fought all the way to the ground, and only broke his back. He recovered and you wouldn't know that he had every been hurt so badly.
