Well, they finally called the guy that left the company and he is supposed to be fixing our firewall and my remote access an privileges so I can maintain our firewall again.

They had the consultant set our on-site servers so it could send directly to the internet itself and found it could not get to the internet thru it's own IP either. It went out thru the same incorrect IP other traffic was being forced thru and that IP was still blacklisted so email started bouncing almost immediately.

Again, don't use the knowledge resources you have when you can bumble around in the dark!
If it went more smoothly guess they couldn't justify the expense.
