If it uber loud, odds are its the jet powered version based at Lincoln.
There is one (non-jet) based out of South Lake Tahoe that has the big motor and is wicked fast. Flys it to the City each weekend. Other than that, they sound pretty normal. The only oddity would be the sound of the exhaust cutting through the propeller. The Italian built Piaggio Avanti has a sound so unique that I can tell when one flys over Monterey Bay when I'm within 10' of surface with a scuba class at Breakwater.
