Dropped progressive years ago. Was given shoddy service when selling my 911 - they wouldn't give me a 'named insured' policy (liability only) without having it attached to a vehicle. Strike 1. Then, 2 rate hikes when moving to safer, less-risky areas, driving less miles, etc. Made no sense. They were done after that.
Now with AAA. Not bad aside from their over-abundance of offers for life insurance. Rates have been slowly going down. We'll see how it goes after a new car purchase.
