When I got changed from hourly to salary my pay increased not because of my position, but they took what I had been averaging per month, no matter the hours I clocked, and added 10 hours a week at my current hourly rate. So can't ***** about any extra ours. We are also expected to keep our own track of our time, and if we put in more than 9 extra, take a comp day off. That's how I ended up 12K of vacation paid for to get me down to the use it or lose it limit.
Working from home I have the ultimate flex time. As long as the work gets done I am golden. Have worked on projects that I kept the computers in the office cranking 24 hours a day for 3 weeks. Just had to log in every few hours and add jobs to them. Was recognized and got a certificate for flexibility. Probably also why the let me stay working from home.
