A decade ago when I bought my '88, Jerry Woods told me not to mess with the motor, but build a "killer" tranny around third and fifth gears, using the G50/10 close ratios for first, second, and fourth. He said that it would unlock some really sparkling performance.
Never got around to it (money), but I'm curious what will be used here -- more of a "rally" gear set or a close-ratio?
Can't wait to see the finished product.
