I hear a couple a week. We live kind of in the landing path of Cable airport (So Cal).
As for small prop planes, they are fairly loud.
In order (IMO):
- 152/172/182 etc
- Twins
- Long E-Z
- Skymaster (Mixmaster!) Push/Pull
Just my casual observation.
FWIW, I love to watch them fly over.
