I found the Site Level Glass on the Front of the Plastic reservoir finally after cleaning ( pressure wash area )
Added 1 QT with 5/8 clear plastic hose to Funnel 6 feet long over cross member to rear of car. Centered Fluid running in site Level . Noted the Fluid rise to top with engine shutoff Via wife Assistant.
Ordered a Filter Kit and well drain Trans and Converter when it arrives.
Car has been sitting and I fixed several Oil leaks like cooler Lines to Rad . Just completed Front end refresh Water pump " CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL " Belt and a Roller bearing Tensioner . A month now and nothing leaks . Also found all the Oil Pan Bolts where Loose quite a bit in fact however nothing is leaking now .
Not sure what is the best Trans Oil to use . some sort of Dexron 3
Anybody try Valvoline DEX/Merc ... I think I well use that and just change it Yearly Converter and all
The 86 32 V drives great but Boaty compared to my 1980 16V . However the 1980 has a Steel Stabilizer Front Frame Horn to horn and is no body twisting during cornering at all.
Perhaps I should check out the Front end completely . I am wondering where I can get Upper Ball Joints for the 1986 928S
