Brent I would keep it but...

The reason for selling is I just don't have space. Right now I'm paying $200/month for enclosed storage for one car. Just hurts paying that bill every month! Need to downsize!

And this won't be much good with the new gig. It's mostly newer car stuff. Anything made in the last 15 years with a mappable ECU and turbos is really the bread and butter. I will be focusing on VAG products though, so o may need a GTI for a DD...

Although I have been rattling around a plan for a while to build a sleeper TDI new beetle. Maybe even a convertible. That engine holds tons of potential. 400hp beetle?!? I love the diesel torque too!

Sid, (start geezer voice) back in 1973 I bought a brand new 1973 Super bug for $2,750 which adjusted for inflation is $14,673.85

I paid it off in 12 months and traded it in on my 914. My payments on that old bug were $150 per month which meant I struggled and worked every weekend to make the bucks. You are paying more just to store your bug than I was paying to buy a new bug. It is time to sell it for sure but you know that.

A brand new base Nissan Versa is $12,800 so less money than my old bug. I will bet big bucks that in 43 years no one anywhere will be rebuild and repairing a 2016 Versa. That old bug is primitive in every way compared to a modern car.
