IIRC the T was pretty low hp intentionally. Mild cam and tuning. Bumping compression will not help a whole lot, but a cam change would.
Per Bruce Anderson's book, you might look at a "E" cam profile.
After struggling with p&cs the past year, if you can afford Mahle, buy them.
