Yeah, if it was a 72-73 T, or any year E or S, I would say put the money into making the MFI right. But your engine was originally carb'ed, if my memory is correct.
When I built my 2.7RS-spec engine, I had the throttle bodies, stacks and linkage reconditioned. I also had my injection pump modified with the correct 2.7RS space cam. Pricey, but compared to my original 2.4E engine, it was a screamer.
