Hi folks. This is my first post to this forum. I'm trying to decide what wheels to put on my 69 912. As background, even for a 912, my car is pretty basic. It doesn't even have a 5 speed tranny. It does have its original motor and transmission though. My goal for the car is to make it factory correct. However, due to POs modifications, it won't be very original. For instance, I'm having to replace the dash, door panels and pockets, seats, paint, and wheels.

The car came with chrome steelies that were replaced with 14" Fuchs. I can get reproduction steelies that will look correct but they're not KPZ or Lemmerz. Or I can get genuine Fuchs, but they won't be period correct. They're 6" so they won't look like 69 Fuchs.

So finally my question: which wheel will enhance the value of my car more? Or, given all the other factors, does it even matter?
