Denis, the conversion was done by the dealership pre-delivery, that's why you see the conversion cost added to the MSRP at the bottom. You are correct that it was not done by Porsche in Germany. In doing research on the car I actually found the conversion instructions from Porsche posted online, so this was obviously done pretty frequently before the factory cabs started hitting the market.

The spoiler was an add-on but is an OEM tail and lid, I have the original non-tail rear decklid as well. At some point I might put the original back on just for something different.

I am definitely re-acquainting myself with the deliberate nature of the 915 gearbox. I want to add the Wevo or Rennshift not for the sake of shifting quicker, but I prefer the spring loaded shifter "planes" that make missing a shift much more difficult. Because I have long legs I will probably also get an extended shift knob. Add some fresh Swepco and an adjustment and life will be good.
