Well, turned the key on for the first time after a long wait. But, to my disappointment the floats are not correct. I switched out the needle valves and measuring the float settings outside the carbs everything seemed ok with the current shims (had no float issues before).

On both carbs, the bowl that supplies the 2 jet stacks is way to high, as in I don't even see where the fuel stops. I'm pretty sure it's that and not fuel missing all together.

What could be the issue if it happens on both? The other bowl/float is fine. I haven't taken anything apart yet to check. Don't have time now, so it will have to wait :-(.
