Good to know about the parts drought. I imagine it might turn out the same for Porsche with new "classic" parts made by different subcontractors than used back in the day. Doesn't take long for people working on these to notice.
I've since seen another W114 with a Holley carb but I'd go for something more Euro if that was an issue.
This car has also been for sale a long time, dropping from $7700 to now $6700. I'll try and get out for a closer look this afternoon.
