Got a few things done this weekend. Really just been trying to familiarize myself with the car, as my knowledge about them is limited. Clean the front trunk out by the battery. It appears one exploded a while ago from PO and never got cleaned up, so I sorted that out. No rust!
Engine is quite dirty, which really irritates me. Cleaned up a few areas that have been seeping oil to monitor and see how bad they are. I'll likely replace the S hose as well as both lines in the rear fender well from/to the cooler.
Swapped rear hoods too! Much better with the whale tail gone! The air conditioning has been removed in the car at some point, so the lower center console wasn't much good. Decided to remove it and I really like the way it looks. Much more floor space and just less clutter. There are 3 holes in the carpet/vinyl left so I'll pick up some black plugs tomorrow for those spots. I'm going to do some black rennline floorboards as well to finish it off below.
As you can see, the seats are in rough shape. Looks like the PO never did any interior work, which I dont mind. Floor mats are a bit rough as well as the seats. The steering wheels needs a couple stiches put back in it too.
